One of my friends who grew up in India put this forward.

It's easy for us in the developed world to scoff at the idea - but I've also been places where the rule of law doesn't reach and it can get very ugly very fast😬

That is why I quantified my answer as 'Organized', it is fine having a guide to live by, but when someone starts making demands or money...
