I've picked up a Voodoo Bizango which I am doing up with thoughts of entering some Cannock/Gorrick/HONC etc events this year. Its in pretty decent condition, with Marzzochi Z2's and XT M737 throughout, except the wheels. I've sourced some cool looking new Bonty Maverick rims and new M737 hubs, and built up some new wheels for it. I'm currently messing around with the Magura brakes, and wondering, is it OK to just bleed them (black gunk came out, and its now blue), or should I replace the hoses? They aren't damaged and the brakes feel pretty awesome. The other thing which is slightly annoying is that if I back off the lever adjuster, fully, I get some play. Is this expected with Magura HS33's? Its probably only 3mm at the lever, but OCD is kicking in and I am thinking of replacing the pistons with fancy ones from Tarty Bikes.
Bike is currently hidden from the wife, in the roof of the garage. I've got some bright green Z2's which I have also refurbished. Toying with the most garish colour combinations.
