how to tell how old a kona bike is ?

Hi Guys, I am fairly new to this and bought what I hope is my first "proper bike" today it has a Kona Kilauea race light frame, judy rock shocks, shimano deore xt brakes / shifters, mavic rims fitted with schwann city jet tyres and I hope I have bought well at £120.00. I am really pleased at how light it is compared to the old clunker of a bike I have now and on a quick test ride it went like a rocket!

Is there any way of telling what age it is and any opinions / advise regarding the price? ie was it reasonable?

Many thanks in advance and regards Norm.

Take a photo and put it on photobucket or the like, then post it here so we can see. Alternatively have a look on the "gallery & Archive" section at the top of the website, look at Kona catalgoues and discover yourself as they have all the catalogues on their.

For valuations there is one thread only and that's here:

Look forward to a pic :D

The price was reasonable, no problem there.

Post some good pictures of it, if it's original it'll be pretty easy. If not and may as well do so anyway post the first 4 or 5 parts of the serial number.

Hi and thanks for the help and positive comments so far, finally managed to get a couple of pictures if anyone can put an age on it thanks again
