How to remove all 4 pistons?

What's the best way to remove all four pistons from an old m4 hope brake? Removing one is easy as I just hold the others back.

push them almost out one so they are right on the edge of the seal then pop them out by hand.
other way is to block the hole you've just made with your finger and use an air line to lift the next one. this gets tricky on 4 pots though.

That's what I figured regarding the first idea. I'll give it a go.

I put zip ties round each one that’s tight but not tight enough to stop them moving. But novo above has the right idea

Put a disc in to stop the first one moving out completely, then pump the lever to move the rest.
