Does everything else seem in order? I'm going to hit the tracks this week, see if it feels right. Might buy me a nice old Marzocci Bomber z1 in red. The old Rock Shox Judy XC is almost entirely without suspension.

If the standard travel is 80-100mm then 140mm will be too long. They would ruin the geometry. Plenty of decent 100mm forks about, try some Fox.

I had a Marzocchi Z3, I felt like heaven to drive around with. I was a noob, but still, they felt so nice and plush!
