Funnily enough I received a txt from Joe this morning, relaying what an unqualified success this bike was in its role of nostalgic but practical birthday present, that perfectly illustrates the gulf that exists between any forum demographic and those who just want something 'nice' that no-one else is going to have...

...it is also the main reason I don't frequent any forums for my other interests, to say nothing of rarely logging in here any more.

Don't get me wrong, all the guys and girls I have met through retrobike have been lovely people to a 'T' but that is an entirely different aspect that is often hard to reconcile with some of what you see written on these pages... :|
 
I found this in my archives, and I swear I had nothing to do with it.

In fact, you couldn't pay me enough to ride it.



Maybe it's just the angle this picture was taken at, but it appears the head angle is at 85 degrees or so.
