Bottom race is 15mm from crown seat to headtube seat. Top race is 14mm from tube seat to top of race. Stem is 50mm deep. Total 79mm Less depth of headset cap, in my case 7mm. Add my tube at 120mm and I need a steerer of 192mm. By my calculations you need a 245mm steerer. I think most standard steerers are about 265 new but a lot of 2nd hand have been cut to below 200mm. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm currentlly looking for 2nd hand forks, rigid Pace if poss, and I don't want to buy too short.
