BITD i always had 3 on the go at any one time, 1 race, 1 training and 1 for going to the shops on.

When at uni i dropped down to one...and gave up cycling. best part of 10 years later i joined this forum after a google search for spares led me here.

Since janurary ive landed myself with another 2 steads, with another one purchased on saturday night after a slightly drunken ebay session.

My collection is as follows.

Team Marin (95) my original race bike from bitd
Team marin (93)- damaged frame i won on ebay after a steady saturday night at the pub.
Orange O2 (98 )- Current project, awaiting a respray and a few componants
Rocky Mountain instinct (99) my first retrobike inspired ebay project -99% complete.

Im slowing down on my frame purchases..... unless a nice pace comes along, or a particually tasty steel kona.

I think we have a winner

I have around 4 to 6 vintage bikes depending of peoples definitions. Most are works in progress... but at least 1 or 2 should be complete in the next month or so (coming into winter here).

I only have 3 atm... and none of the is finished yet. God I feel like such a looser :-(

OH NO WAIT! I have 4 and 1 IS finished hehe. My S-works M2 Team from 1996 is finished and ready to go...

Building up my KLEIN Rascal (1991), my S-bike (FS from 1994, a 908 appearantly) and I also have my (t)rusty ol' Specialized Stumpjumper FS from 1992 that I'm gonna build up when my KLEIN is finished (and of course whenever I stumble upon something NOS again on E-bay).

Well, still just 4 retro bikes... and with one more Scott Scale 20 makes 5. I think it will stay with those, otherwise my gf will probably strangle me slowly when I'm a sleep :twisted: :shock: (although I REALLY WANT a 1993 Zaskar LE as well, ball-burnished that is).

Dude, you still let your gf sleep in the bed with you!? You can easily fit 2 bikes in the space taken up by 1 gf, no problem!

And the bikes don't steal the sheets...
