as i said , i started about a year ago
looking for a shorter stem originally , and i was picking up pieces a lot cheaper THEN compared to now
and thats within just a year !!

I have three in this country including a road bike .

I have two more in france , really old road bikes , one pinarello and one Motocomfort , they used to be my grandad . Also got a Sunn BMX in bits .

why do you all reckon the retro bike collecting thing has kicked off so much in recent years?

Interesting point.
As a few people have mentioned internet sites like ebay, mtbr vrc and (of course) here have helped.
I think the mtb 'retro' scene has grown as those that were around at the time have become older and now have more disposable income.
