Our Boulter was installed 17 years ago, still working hard... there have been plenty of bits replaced over the years but the main parts are all original. The guy who fitted it says to keep it going as long as possible as none of the more recent ones will last anything like as long and the parts are all still readily available for this one.
He may well have a point... the neighbours across from us got a new external boiler fitted about 18 months ago and it's rarely worked for more than a month without requiring attention from a plumber (or two!)
