How do you clean your vinyl records?

I am in heaven. Rega preamp arrived yesterday. This morning listening to Fleetwood Mac live (tusk tour 1980) double gatefold.

If you're my girlfriend, you do it by leaving the record spinning on the turntable with the lid up forever...

My Sister used to do exactly that with my Dads turntable in the 80's :facepalm:

Now have a thakker basic carbon brush and a teeny tiny tonar tooth/stylus brush. Works well as records are just dusty not grimy.

Off to the charity shops of evesham to find some gems.

When I was about ten I had a ferguson multi record player with separate speakers. All in white loved it. Lift the arm for repeat playing of Jilted John. That was cool. My Little Jimmy Osmond album was not.

I've got a few turntable bits and bobs for a turntable I no longer have if anyone is interested.

I have a spirit level, like this, still in it's little box:

An ultrasonic stylus cleaner:

And a little Shure stylus balance:

And several carbon cleaning brushes, I think.
