I messaged the seller this morning about the suspected crack and he has since removed the wheel from sale, so I presume it was

I did the same yesterday and the response was that it was not a crack but a seam where two half cups are joined.
As they are milled in one piece this of course means it was a crack.
He definitely didn't know though.
Shame as they were v nice!
