For sale is a retro Hope Ti Glide laced to a Bontrager Race rim (28Hole). The hub has been completely stripped and bearings replaced in the main body, the ones in the free-hub body wasn't so bad so just a degrease and re-grease, hub is running as new. The inside was in excellent condition and didn't look to be too used.
The rim is a Bonty Race, rim braking surface which doesn't have much ware at all, completely flat with no markings. I de laced the wheel, cleaned everything and re built it with new nipples. Trued on my TS2 stand with dial indicators so its running as straight as a die.
This wheel will be a beauty for that retro build or a collector, beautiful sound from the hub. I have seen just the hubs going on Retro Bike for £50, to save the hassle finding a rim with it being 28 Hole, I am selling it as a complete wheel for £65 including postage. I think this is a cracking deal considering the new bearings and labour for the whole shenanigans.
