Hope spider removal

Probably a stupid question but how do I remove the spider from a Hope hub.

Is there a Hope specific tool to remove the lockring?

There's a specific tool to remove it.
The best way is to mount the tool in a vice facing up, and then place the wheel on top with some pressure pushing down, and turn the wheel to remove the lockring.

Of course the tool above will do the trick, but be careful as it can wreck the holes if you aren't accurate with your force!!
I did see some of the Hope ones a while back in an online store somewhere.

Depending on which hub you have, there are two sizes of tool with the pins at different spacings.

If you really get stuck, I have both, which you'd be welcome to borrow for the postage costs.

As the link, I use a green Park pin spanner on mine.
Mine was coming loose every 10 minutes on the Peak District group ride!
