Dirt Disciple
Just got my (ti glide rear) hubs back today from being serviced and now the rear one seems to have lost its trademark loud click, any ideas as to what has caused this?

A thin light layer of grease usually does the trick.
I am not sure if it is adviseable to not use any grease at all, things may wear out faster then.

That's the way. You must lubricate them.

For the new Pro II hubs Hope recommend oil, and not grease, for them.

If you want to maximise the noise they make then you can get rid of the grease and use a heavy oil similar to that used in gear boxes (something like Castrol EPX 80W-90 would do the job). The only drawback with that is you'll have to service the hub more often to make sure it doesn't dry out.
