hope rear hub bearing

i have a hope rear hub on a team marin light the sealed bearing on the left hand side seems to be sticking out by about 6 mil looks odd is this how it should be or does it need pressing in right up to the hub body.

The bearing should be fully in the hub body. A photo would probably help.

don't sound right to me, as cherrybomb said, should be inside the hub, take it to someone who knows what they're doing and get it sorted before it becomes a problem!!
