Hope moto disc thickness

I ve found a hope moto disc in a box of parts
Am I correct thinking these are thicker than standard discs ( vented disc) an only work specfic caliper
I have a vague recollection this is a v4 disc but it just says moto on the disc so not sure

I think it is a V2 rather than v4. What colour is it out of interest as looking for one.

As you can see it's vented so that makes it thicker than standard I'm unsure if it needs a specific caliper

I think a v4 calliper is needed, certainly the older tech v4 can take one. Not sure if V2 does as well?

I don't think it is a v4 disc I ve had it quite a while
I think it must be a v2.

Let me check mine as I have one. I am looking for a v4 or V2 to pair it with as it goes.

V brakes stand for vented so either V2 or V4 calipers can take the thicker rotors. That's a V2 rotor, the vented V4 uses the same track depth as all their other rotors whereas the V2 was quite a bit deeper. The Moto badging means it was from the '07/08 run with the older, larger Moto lever that was available before the Tech lever became available and the Moto became the Tech V2.

Late to the party, grabbed some pics of the v4 I have for comparison. I also have some non vented v2s. Are these thicker than standard hope rotors, haven't measured.

I'm ideally after a red one as the v4 I have is 203 but may be interested.
