Just on the off-chance!

I was stupid enough to bank transfer to someone miles away from me advertising one on Gumtree and guess what? They never sent it and stopped responding to my messages.

Apologies in advance for the sob story but this was for my sons bike, he is 16 and doesn't have a part-time job to fund a bike (he is autistic and struggling enough trying to keep up with his peers at school). I managed through lots of deals to get him a nice MTB and a full set of SLX disc brakes only to find that despite buying new pads and giving them a complete bleed the seals have gone in both calipers and they don't work. I have tried so many remedies that I've found online but with no success.

I sourced a rear brake Hope Mono Mini for a really good price after having to give up on the SLX and now have been ripped off on the front one. I really have very limited funds but would like to get him a matching front brake, ideally with caliper number 3 so I don't have to replace the 180mm rotor or buy an adapter to make it work. I am prepared to do a bleed, and I do have a set of pads so that's not important. I just want to get his bike finished and rideable.

WHY?

Ive a number of Mono minis and as Ive only got the 2 hands, its will likley never use them.

I am also Autistic. Assburgers :xmas-wink: You/he can have a front on me. Postage only. :xmas-big-grin:
I'd class condition as pretty good overall. a small number of scratches where youd expect them, but lever is quite unblemished and certainly looks nice enough.
It's IS mount, caliper No3. Mount adaptor number if going on a PM fork is HBSM20H. Its not a common one but are available on ebay though its rare enough to hold its newish price of £10 approx. The other slight anomoly with it is ive stuck on a rear hose.

Now im pretty sure theres a shorter one in the box somewhere and if all is OK for you, ill hunt it down and fit it. If not be aware youll need a new olive and to be able to cut the hose to length.
Approx size frame- kid height - fork length please, Keeping in mind if hes a teen he could suddenly wake up on morn a foot taller.

Im pretty sure the No3 @adaptor is for 180mm(well its likely 183mm but just stick a short stack of washers under to jack it up if you need to.

Re:

Andy you are an absolute flippin star!!

Finn will be over the moon. Please let me know more by pm. I will take off the useless SLX tonight and measure the hose. He is 16, is about 5'10" and this bike (hopefully the last) is a Medium frame with 120mm forks.
