Hope Mini help.

Hey peeps,
I'm rebuilding my old Hope Minis,
got the rebuild kits incoming.
I need to know the volume of fluid needed.
Is 60ml enough for both? (popular ebay quantity)
Or is that just for 1?
I'll never rebuild them again, so don't want 1/2 a gallon sat on the shelf for ever!

Most bike shops sell 125ml bottles for about £5 Halfords are doing 500ml of Mobil dot 5.1 for £10.79
I think you will struggle to bleed 2 brakes with 60ml.
The brake fluid Hope sell is probably Mobil as they use.Mobil grease on their hubs.

Thanks for that, so are you saying automotive brake fluid?
I use Mobil 5.1 in motorcycles, just use that?
I thought they needed mineral fluid.

yes Hope use to make parts for Moto cross bikes, Mobil 5.1 is fine.
In the video they are using Carlube brake fluid
Mobil I’m sure will be better.

Shimano,magura and tecktro use mineral oil sram,hope and avid , hayes and formula use dot brake fluid.
