Hope / Mavic 26" wheels - Harry Rowland built

Hi all,

I am selling a pair of Hope / Mavic 26" wheels in excellent condition, built by master wheelbuilder Harry Rowland.

I would estimate these have had 200 miles use since new. You can still see the masking tape marking the first spoke!

Disc ready wheels front and back. The front is a disc only rim (X717) but the rear (X517) can be used with disc or rim brakes, so a perfect pair for an old frame without disc tabs but with a disc capable fork up front. Very little wear.

I am looking for £200 for the pair ono. Selling to fund more bike purchases

Are you sure it's not just a random piece of masking tape?

I can't imagine why you'd start a wheelbuild there, or need to mark your first spoke for that matter.

Well it appeared when the wheels came back from building, and it wasn't there when I sent the bits off, so I would assume it has something to do with that, perhaps not the first spoke.
