Standard 1 1/8" its for the lower cup.

Anyone got a cheap equivalent ? because quite frankly charging near 20 quid is an obscene joke and pure profiteering on behalf of Hope. AGAIN

(Short Rant) I mean come on ffs, look at a Hope stem. TWO pieces of alloy and about 1/2 dozen bits of tooling and they want £80. Compare this to one of their brakes with 30 individual parts all requiring materials and tooling themselves. But costs less than 50% more.
I can understand £4-10 per bearing but £20 is a f*****g piss take.(Close rant)

Have you tried your local bearing factor? Hub cartridge bearings are typically £2-£4 depending on whether it's no-name Chinese or SKF, compared to £5-10 via bike retailers.

Re:

You can get aftermarket of the same size...you need the code that is stamped on the rubber seal bit of the bearing...alternatively if you can get the measurements of the depth and diameter etc...

Have a look here...its where I get my BB bearings from

I got some from planet x or on one for about a fiver for both. Annoyingly I found the original bearing I thought I'd lost so have a spare set now. If memory serves they have a 44 degree angle but can't remember the other dimensions.

Cheers for the links :D Ill look into sorting the headset and get some freehub ones too. Might as well
