Hope CNC Mechanical Disk Brake in 26" Wheel - Front

seank

Retro Newbie
Doesn't need a disk brake bracket as it is secured via the spindle and uses an anchor arm like hub brakes so could be fitted to any forks. Standard fitting for suspension forks plus home made stainless steel bracket for 'skinny' rigid forks. Beautifully machined with helicoiled threads.

Includes all parts as seen in pictures - caliper, disk, hub, skewer, built into 26" dbl walled Mavic rim with stainless spokes.

Plenty of life left in pads. Found at least 3 dealers today off Hopes list who had pads in stock. It was also suggested that EBC (manufacturers of most MTB brake pads) would probably hold these pads.

I'm out dammit. I'd have to buy a bike to go with it.....

I remember the first test of these in MBUK many years ago, IIRC they were on a custom steel frame - maybe a Dave Yates or Chas Roberts something?
