Hope C2 Refurb

I've been informed that Hope will completely refurb a C2 brake for £40 and include a new set of pads too

I have 4 that I want redoing and 2 of them I want to use braided hoses on

I've seen gaskets kits for them online and have a lot of experience redoing car and motorbike brakes, carbs and stuff along these lines

Is this a pretty straight forward repair? I mean is there anything complicated that needs a specialist technician to do the work? or can I just proceed myself

is it standard DOT 4 or DOT 5 that is used ?

The only possible hard part is removing the pistons as they are screwed in (right hand thread), normally you can get them out with a pin spanner & a track pump, if they are tight you will need to make a 4 prong remover (I use a modified shimano freewheel remover).

DO NOT USE DOT 5.

ONLY USE DOT 4 or 5.1
