hope c2 clearance problems

further to my previous post about fouling on spokes, which is now sorted

my front hope c2 brake is being a pain in the arse. once fitted, the wheel runs great through the caliper, but once you tighten the quick release up, the rotor binds very heavily on the caliper pad. Is this a fitment problem due to the hub Im using? a shimano hub

Should I use a Hope hub to overcome this? I tried releasing a little fluid, but there is no free play to adjust the pads

is it rubbing on the inside or outside?

its the side closest to the fork leg. I would space the brake over, but that isnt possible either

the other thing you could do is put a 1mm/2mm spacer on the axle to slightly move the disc across you'll have to open the forks a little to squeeze the wheel in but i'll solve the problem

what numbers your caliper ? any chance of a picture ?

where would I put the spacer big.eck? between the hub and the qr skewer?

I think they are number 3 calipers. I will get a picture up
