Hi, picked up a 1999 Marin Rock Springs which came with the Hope C2 upgrade. I am now in the process of doing it up and to be fair the brakes are quite tidy, I have ordered the relevant lever and calliper seal kits. Sadly I have found that the thumb adjuster screw has snapped 
I’ve exhausted my search for a replacement and want to know if anyone has one available? Also is anyone on here able to advise whether that the operation of the thumb adjuster is critical to the performance of the brake? My understanding is that you can use the thumb adapter to dial the pads back should you be cooking the brakes on a long descent. Cheers, Rich.
