Hope brake info

Hi all, just bought some hope mono mini brakes off fb marketplace as they looked tidy and a good price but was surprised to find they are Santa Cruz branded and wondered if anyone knew what they might have come off as I have never seen any like this before.











Bore caps look like gunmetal but could have been changed?

I have a hope pro II rear hub that's also marked with the santa Cruz logo. I would guess they had a partnership for a time, probably when Steve Peat was part of the Santa Cruz Syndicate.

Yeah I’ve seen plenty of hubs (got a couple myself) just never any brakes.

That's a chunky old lever on there. I see the MBUK name in the top caps too, interesting.
Maybe they were a limited run, special order, or something like that? They almost look like they've been adapted for more DH type use, but not the Mono M4 caliper?
They make a change from the regular Mono Minis though.
