BIt of an oddity this, but before Hope made a hub they made a brake, but needed a hub to use it with, so, they got some Shimano rear hubs with a large non-drive-side flange, machined the flange square and cut a thread into it, then the disc carrier threaded on and you could bolt a disc to it. Probably only any good if you have one of the first gen disc brakes, but it took me an age to find one of these and I haven't seen another since.
Anyway, hub is, I think, an M732, and is clearly used but has loads of life in it and spins OK, but would benefit from a rebuild, freehub body seems good too, Mavic 217 rim looks like it has not been used, but the decal is peeling, wheel is nice and true, 36 hole, good spokes and nipples. Disc is a little corroded but should polish up.
