No orcs, hobbits or dragons, just great company, banter and a nice pub lunch to boot. Looking forward to meeting up again sometime.
Congratulations go to Ken for his first time over 100 miles and done in a not too shabby 7hr 45mins. Especially as his legs 'went' with about 40 to go Plus he has finally shaken off his reputation for shoddy navigation with a well planned and brilliantly memorised route, i hadn't a clue where we were
I clocked 105 miles, 50 there and a little more on the way back due to a few stray turns. The weather was very kind for the Atherstone group, only a little rain in the first hour and glorious sunshine on the way home.
Check out the photos of Ken's retro cycle socks...
Shock horror...hipsters spotted in sleepy Balsall Heath (see photo). Shop bought 'fixie' and skinny jeans and he only looked about 12  Bloody 'fixie' riders
See you all soon....
