Home made hi-rite? Or is it hite-rite?

I was wondering if anyone has successfully made a hi rite DIY style.. surely can’t be that hard as it’s a spring with a hook both ends and a clamp… asking because I don’t fancy paying £50 quid or waiting around for one..
