Right chaps. . as a few of you know, I've had so much touble finding a decent 31.8 seat collar. Being that I'm known as "Mr Ringlé", to help me and to help you guys, I comissioned my own batch to be CNC'd. As you can imagine, this cost me heavy. . .
I CAN NOT offer these as genuine Ringlé product as it is not authentic 1992 stock (although you'd never really know). Passing off product as something that it is not is Illegal, therefore as far as we're all concerned, this is just a 31.8 collar.
I have made the clamp around 1mm bigger than the original to increase strength, and so that I can tell mine from the originals. I want to know if someone is later palming off my stuff for not "what it is". I'm sure you understand.
Colours are Black, Red, Turq, and 3DV (purple).
Cost is the same as 1992, at £45 posted. A £6 saving to you RB dudes as opposed to whats on ebay. .
PM me if you need any more info!

mmmm nice. did you write the cnc program yourself?
Nope, I did all the CAD work/ reverse engineering, but got the machining sub'd ou (hence the high cost!). I always machine my first proto's by hand, but I don't have CNC kit of my own.

Can you make hubs too?
Nope. I have rear superduper8 hubs on the shelf, but pretty much all others are sold now. ..

Cheers for the encouragement guys! I must say I was real pleased with how they came out :)

They look Very nice-and would fit my yo too..!!!

Where i used to work, someone machined a copy of a zooka just by measuring an original with a vernier caliper..!!!!

Still have it somewhere.....

Wow, amazing detail. Once I have recovered from my knee op and have the strength to ride I think I may be asking to pop over with the bike and see if I can justify one of those over my hope job and see what other stuff you have, other than the metric buttload of stuff on the bay of course ;). You can't have too much Ringle, real or otherwise! ;)

Cheers,

Nick
