Holdsworth's Use of Kromo on C.B. and Grubb

I understand that all the Holdsworth bikes of the early 1960's were some type of 531. What I am wondering is what tubing they used to build their lower-tier Claud Butlers and Freddie Grubbs of that period. The advertisements of the era say nothing, which is unusual, because all of the ads for the more-expensive bikes from both marques explicitly say 531. I am tempted to say Accles & Pollock Kromo, with hi-ten forks and stays, but I don't know. My '63 Routier (least expensive Grubb) definitely has a seam on the inside/front of seattube and downtube.

I sold many Freddy Grubb frames from the Holdsworthy Company in the early 60s. On some the makers stamp on the tubing was visible. They used Reynolds Grade A drawn tubing, for the main tubes.
Freddy Grubb was their low price, Claud Butler medium and Holdswoth top level. The Grubb road/track frame had plain 531.

Would you say, then, that there is a possibility that this frame (which came with no headbadge and a single, misplaced decal) is not a Grubb? I saw the seam inside the seattube, and felt the one inside the downtube when the b.b. was off and I reached a finger inside.

Two numbers on a Grubb? (I've seen Grubbs with a four-digit number, and some with a five-digit, but not both).

Could be a bit later model, musing cheaper tubing.. The ones I sold had a cast fork crown with a lamp bracket boss. The other fittings look like grubb. Obviously the head badge is a mystery.

Yes, this has the cast (rounded) fork crown and the lamp bracket boss, but it is not newer than 63 because Grubb discontinued the Nervex and went to Prugnat lugs in '64. Maybe what I was seeing is not a seam, but something other. Thanks for your replies. It helps me get a little closer.
