Holdsworth ID / serial help

Just acquired this cute bike from a neighbor, would appreciate any help with dating etc.

Has what appears to be 37 2659 on the BB, but the 37 is stamped OVER the 2659 so it's a bit muddled. Any insight would be very much appreciated. Former owner said it was his grandmother's and was acquired mid 80's but not sure.

Visually looks very close to pics of holdsworth equipment, circa 75, but very confusingly, was accompanied by a Raleigh owners manual, that has nothing in it that speaks to this bike..

Worth checking for a number on the fork - stamped on the steerer if that's an original fork.

37 2659 would be 1972 according to https://www.nkilgariff.com/FrameNosTemp.htm
