Mine just has the one set of holes, and as I said earlier drilled off centre.

I looked around for the correct badge for a while, then got some transfers made. They are near enough for me.
I could not work out if the light blue or dark blue top to the badge was earlier or later.. if anyone got any ideas please share, as I got both colours made.

I've got a few pics that I'll post later
Cheers

a couple of pics below , if anyone with a cyclone deluxe would share the rivet spacing dimension it would help me check if mine originally had the cyclone deluxe badge.
There are pics of an all chrome 1948 cyclone deluxe track frame on the net with no badge, but cannot see if the holes are there or not which stops it being used as a reference.
I would gather mine is quite an early one as they go ?

I am trying to ascertain if my current bike is an authentic Holdsworth, but suspect not and wondered if anyone here could add any comments/wisdom to my search...

The frame number is "A 14270", which appears to imply it'd not be a Holdsworth at all according to the charts? Because no numbers had prefixed letters? Or could it be early 60s if the letter is discounted?

The frame itself appears to be much newer, so I am doubting it's a Holdsworth at all... looks early 80s maybe?

However, the one strange thing is that the lugging looks like Holdsworth lugging (particularly around the seatpost, with the wrapping around bit?)... hence why I am wondering if it might be...

I don't know much about frame, I must be honest, so if I am barking up the wrong tree feel free to tell me so! Alternatively... maybe it's another type of frame hiding under Holdsworth decals?

Yes that number suggests early 50's, but the frame looks late 70's or early 80's. the wrap over is odd. Can you post mode pictures of the number and location, along with the lug work and other fitting.
