I use the photo and picture resizer app on my phone, one of the preset pixel sizes seems to work every time..
.

Which app do you use?

On my phone I use "Image size" it's free and simple. but to get best results I put the image on my PC desktop, right click, choose "edit" and adjust first by pixel size (Max 1280 wide) then save and check the size, it needs to 512KB or under, this you can reduce by percentage...

Hi, I got this holdsworth frame a few years back the bloke I bought it off reckoned it was 50’s from the time when CB was merged.

It’s got a CB frame number. Can you help me identify what it is? CB 14173

Re:

Nervex lugs fairly sure the guy I bought it off said it was 531 but I wouldn’t say it’s lightweight. Not sure what else I can tell you.
Hope it looks familiar to one of you.

If it was a Holdsworth model that number would date it to c.1951 and I don't believe nervex lugs were being used at that point. You are right that serial does fit for a c.1962 Holdsworthy Claud which is a few years after takeover. Think we need better pics of head tube lugs, seat cluster, bottom bracket and dropouts.

Regardless, in 1962 the two Holdsworthy Claud road bikes with Nervex lugs were the Coureur with Nervex Legere and higher end Cordon Bleu with Nervex Pro. The Coureur usually had a lamp boss and TT pump pegs and the Cordon Bleu did not.

At a distance, the lugs look more to me like Nervex Legere. Need better views. Despite missing lamp boss and pump pegs I'll take a guess that your frame is a Coureur.

You should check out PeachyPM's thread with new CB prediction table, links to dwscrimshaw's data collection and my Flickr album with pics that should help you ID model:

Re:

I think it’s perhsps a coureur that’s had the pump and light boss removed. I think they’re the legere lugs.

I found a catalogue from 62 online but couldn’t see the steel spec, anyone know? Is it 531?

Finally any ideas as to value?
