HIGH ZOOT STEALTH new parts in

Re: HIGH ZOOT STEALTH mysterious/superrare/exotic

Thanks mcone, yes, i have everything thats out there on the net :) I think with decals its just the way they did it. They offered probably airbrush option and then they had standard decals they were applying on the top before final clearcoat layer.

Re: HIGH ZOOT STEALTH mysterious/superrare/exotic

High Zoot/TNT carbon crankset TNT including rings and bolts. Massive carbon layered arms with bonded aluminium fittings for pedals.
This is early model with circular fittings. Later model had oval ones. Cranks never made it much to the market. I have one little picture of these cranks in one magazine somewhere. Otherwise i never see them anywhere.

Re:

Those cranks are a thing of beauty. Probably the best retro carbon cranks I have ever seen

Re: HIGH ZOOT STEALTH mysterious/superrare/exotic

Yes they are gorgeous. I have never seen such a thick piece of carbon :))

High Zoot company used quite a lot TNT components, which were also based in Phoenix, Arizona.
In the Mountain Biker review there is TITUS titanium stem on it.
Titus Cycles were also from Phoenix.
Also Conejo that had some licence to use Stealth front triangle for their "Stealth" model was also from Phoenix/Tempe.
Seems they kept business pretty local

Re:

I have an update on the parts. After exactly 8 years i was able to aquire black TNT hubs. One by one. Sometimes one has to be patient.
Now i have almost all components for the build.
Just two more.
That is TNT titanium stem and black Proshift front deraileur.
TNT ahead stem is quite elusive aswell. Id like to get it to keep the orthodoxy, but there is a big chance i will not be able to install those High Zoot risers on.
So at the same time i have to look for flat High Zoot bars ones aswell lol.
