Slow progress didn't want to de-rust, so worked on some other things this weekend.
The chain ring is heavy, but solid only a few nicks and chips (Johnson 44T) , but overall cleaned up nice!
The Front brakes cleaned up nice, but have ordered some new mounting bolts and tiny lock nuts in black plus I'm still undecided about the original brake levers tech 77's. The Alu has been chewed up a tad, but I think I can either buy repo for £30.00 pair, or degrease and removal all paint, then sand down and finally respray, paint alone is about £26 for 2 cans!!
What to do.....? I could buy Shimano for less
At somepoint he/she must have lost a brake block at the front, as I found a rusty old BMX one, compared to the Yeystar ceramic shoes so I have three two rear only one at the front.
Can't seem to find them in the UK for reasonable money? Any help on this?
