Such a millennial trophy! I’d love to buy this, but I’m a little worried I’d be devaluing it at 6000;: (people would say the last one of these sold for 6000 not 8500, so I’d ‘lose’ 2500 investment without knowing it.

Would you accept 10000 ( but back dated to 8500 in instalments of 500 each quarter, and we state the sale on here was 11,000 “friends and family”?)

A Hetchins is on my bucket list and I did contact David a while ago (10 years probably - time passes) about a new build but came to the conclusion I prefered some of the less ornate lugwork versions.

24" c-t please, less ornate and a zero knocked off the price tag would suit nicely

I am wondering how to set a value on such a thing. I'm also wondering where abouts in the world the correct audience might be.

Probably the best place for this is eBay - if you get two or three collectors on the hook you might do well out of it.
