I'm liking the Epic. :D
There aren't many full suspension bikes I'd buy, but I'd buy that design Epic.

Thanks mate :D

I like the looks of the Epic too. My only issue would have to do with it's country of origin. Isn't it a Taiwan made Specialized? They import almost all their frames now...Specialized that is.

Asian made frames that cost thousands of dollars really scuffs my grapes. :x I get that they almost need to mass produce overseas now-a-days, but we should benefit from a reduced MSRP than we do...

Yes it's Taiwanise but most frames are these days. I know its not an American wonder bike but I bought what I could afford ... and I love it. It was the basic model back in 2005 which didnt even come with disc brakes! Hence its just a Specialized Epic (not Comp, Marathon, Pro etc...)Ive upgraded it gradually but ive been careful to try and keep it fairly Retro ish with the right names Hope, Chris King, X-lite, Ricthey,Thompson etc...(ok the Shadow XT mech is a bit new school but it looks the nuts!)(oh and the disc rotors but they look cool too and save a few grams!) and no Carbon Fibre anywhere (ok, ok I know carbon headset spacers!) I love it!

I recieved a replacement frame for my Decade today after I found a hairline crack where the seat stays join to the seat tube. Upgrade Bikes have appologized and said that it was a manufacturing fault as it was one of the very first frames made.

I'm pretty happy and the turn arond was incredible sent old frame on wednesday and recieved the new one today.

Hi - what was the frame no. of the Decade (Virtue 10th Anniversary) - I have one and I'd like to know if it was an early one...
