F05LAC004 - 1995 Team Titanium ?
Hello - Another newbie with a Marin Identify question. Not new to retro, just new to posting. So, I got a cracked frame in a pile of retro parts a while back. Crack is bad enough to probably chuck the frame, but I might give it a lash if this is an old one, let it see a few more miles before shuffling off.
Read the thread, gleaned a lot of info from it, but I have a slightly different number system than the rest.
Frame code is F05LAC004. There is a 50 02 written across under the cable guide, and BT 0261 on the other side. There are no decals, other than an outline white MARIN on the downtube with silver shadowing, two USA stickers, and a Special Tubing one on the seat tube.
The first zero is throwing me, as I was expecting a model number greater that zero. Apparently, it's a Team Ti frame, but I won't believe that just yet. It does appear to be a 17.5 frame though, which matches the early comments.
So, Gods of Retro, can I be another 'what have I got' poster?
