Anyone got the foggiest what these are model wise please....?

Think I measured them at about 75mm of stantion, and thought possibly Z2 BAM's? On the back of the arch it also says 'DATO' and a number, but the camera chose not to focus properly on that bit. They are quite light for Zocchis. Brace has drilled holes for a canti hanger, and the adjustments do seem to work as they should. Still got a nice action to them too!

It's '97 Z2 sometimes called alloy (as it's equivalent in '9:cool: Stamped '96 on the brace, so '97 catalogue model
Z2 BAM and Z2 Light (introduced in '9:cool: having bigger holes in the brace and different preload/damping adjusters

Re:

Ah, thank you!

They're not the metallic slime green colour though, more flat Kawasaki green, and the adjusters are red not blue? Wasn't sure if there was a chance they were resprayed to match a specific bike model, but at the factory as OEM I mean, they don't look to have been done by an amateur.

Re:

Thanks for that detailed info Skolioza. Marzocchi's marketing departement was hard to follow in those years. Z2, Z2 light, Z2 BAM, Z2 Atom Sport, Z2 Atom Race, X-Fly, Z1, Z3, Z4, Z5, coil, air, 70, 80, 100 mm, etc, etc. It helps to have the catalogues. Which I do since two weeks ;) But even with the catalogues it's not completely clear.

LikeClockwork - I think that could be OEM painting for some manufacture - but have no idea for which one
Remko - I have scanned 97 and 98 catalogues, can drop links after weekend

Thanks but no need, I've got them also on paper.
