Help with front Derailleur.

I am going new on my muni mula and want to purchase a front Derailleur.
Im looking at SLX and XT.
Wich one do i buy :?:

conventional, top swing, direct mount. Also the SLX says dual pull.

Dual pull is always a winner. Get a top swing and then it's nice and compact on the seat tube. Most come with shims now to fit the different diameters of seat tube too.
