Help wanted - 700c wheels on a 26er canti frame?

Is anybody aware of a solution to aligning v brakes on a 26" frame with the rim of a 700c? Googled a couple of solutions but all appears dated and can't believe there isnt a more readily available fix.

Cheers.

Re:

Chances are, Paul Moto brakes will work.
Alternatively, in particular with a steel frame/fork, you might be able to drill a hole for caliper brakes.

Re:

Mavic used to make a converter - it looked like a classic canti/v horseshoe shaped brake booster, but can't find any available using the google/ebay.

Looks like Xtra cycles make something similar, but a quick googling only show's them available in the US:

These people look like they might be in the UK (prices in GBP) but listed as out of stock, and can only contact them via email:

Go disk? Maybe less hassle in the long run - though a tad expensive. Plenty of retro forks with disc tabs, hope torsion arm no 3 caliper kit for the back.

I used the Mavic adapters on my commuter bike years ago - best thing ever. I put a hybrid fork on the front so I only needed one. I still have two sets, and a Redline CX fork, I just need the right frame.

If you're willing to go wading into eBay listings, there are a couple different v-brakes with what should be enough room to adjust the pads to fit a 700c wheel.
