Argos probably used a Blue torch . apply heat to the seat tube and pull very hard .

Ive seen this done on one of my local shops - looks scary but I think if you keep the heat moving quick enough it dosent damage the frame/ decals. Cant say that I would be brave enought to do it myself though!
