Help please - Steel GT serial numbers

I'm pretty sure it's a 1993 model. What would make most sense to me is that that is actually the Pearl Mist colour listed in the catalogue. The purply-blue and black scheme being called Pearl Mist doesn't make any sense to me, but I have seen several people online claiming that is the name of that colourscheme.

Yep, I knew if I thought about it I should know the name for that other colourscheme. It is the Black Light colourscheme that was used on the Karakoram in 1993. So yours is a 1993 Timberline in Pearl Mist.

I'll get the rest of my Gts done over the weekend really should of done it earlier before my clearout...would of had quite a few more

Saw that thread pop up again, just as I had the girlfriend's 1993 Borrego in for some work.
Sadly, the BB area is pretty chewed up by the chain - I rode it hard when I bought the bike new at 17.

Looks like a H, which would also fit with Hodaka frames from others (OK I jump all the posts before this, did they, GT, make frames there)

Aggressor - the frame was made in 1994, so is either a 1994 (first year for the Aggressor) or 1995 model. The alternative colour option in 1994 was Baja Blue, so that could be it, although the blue in your photo looks a little darker. I haven't seen a comprehensive 1995 catalogue yet, so I'm not sure whether there was a blue option that year for the Aggressor. I have found any definite evidence that there was.

Thank you - I missed it being a 3 - that confirms it is a 1994 model then. The third character is the month of build, but they missed out some letters, hence my list is not yet comprehensive.
