Help on Decals/Transfers

These guys above Egovinyls are great for small decals, they make lots of reproduction decals for rare chsinsets and derailleurs. Also they sell the 'Record' decal which would replace the Record Carbon and Record rear derailleur decals which are easily damaged.

I bought a load of these from him when they were 2 euro a pop. Also suffered at the digital hand of Mr Lloyd. I wont say what he said about him, but in Spanish it's pretty brutal!
Unfortunately this hasnt helped much I dont see Raleigh Superbe decals anywhere here. tried searching on the seller listings but nothing comes up

Yeah those guys in Spain are a bit more specialist, small decals for Colnago, Campagnolo parts and mountain bikers.

I might as well just ask on here since H Lloyd doesnt seem interested in responding to me. What is better? Vinyl, Dryfix or Waterslide? and do his transfers have UV protection so they dont fade over time?

Vinyl are pretty much the only option nowadays, any vintage waterslide you might find will be knackered (they don't age well). Most vinyl used for decals (but I don't think Lloyd uses it) is 3M. It's waterproof and UV proof.

However, it's a good idea to ask what inks are used to print the decals, because some people use cheap non pigment (and hence non archival inks) which will fade in sunlight. Archival inks are good for 150 years exposure.

Still dont see them. I need a set of Raleigh Superbe 1950-1960 decals "The All Steel Bike" and "High Tensile Steel Tubing" etc etc
They might not exist. If a vintage bike is not really popular, no one might have found an original set to copy or redraw. You might have to go down the route of commissioning someone to redraw a set for vinyl print (not cheap)
