ahmsk's bike is deffo a 96/97 Iboc- I sold one to a mate BITD- had monocoque style moulded lugs with alloy tubes.

The second picture shows a more conventional welded alu frame- worth bearing in mind that Mongoose were made by many different manufacturers and the bikes varied in diffrent sales territories
