Hi all,
I recently acquired an elevated chainstay mountain bike I believe to made in the early 90's. Since it's original incarnation, it looks like it has been painted several times and converted into a touring bike. I'm interested in seeing if you all can help me figure out who and where this guy is from.
I've snapped a few photos and found the serial number: A320400 on the bottom bracket.
Some people over at mtbr pointed me here, they also had a few guesses. No one is sure yet, but here are the ideas: DBS Kilamanjaro, Rocky Mountain Cirrus, Nishiki Alien, any more ideas? I know this is going to be a doozy of a task since it's been repainted so many times. The only other components on the bike that are era relevant are the Shimano Exage 300 groupset with intact BioPace chain rings! Let me know what you all think.
Here are the new pictures -- (there are more in this album)
