Help identify bike size

Hello,

I'm considering buying a bike. It's listed on eBay not too far away from where I live.
The seller is not very responsive, which is never s good sign. But maybe you can help me.
The bike, a Dawes Audax, is listed as a 53cm frame
But looking at the headtube looks to me a 55cm because from pictures I saw online the 53cm has the top tube and down tube that almost touch at the headtube while this has a good 3-4cm between them.
Of course it's hard to tell from a photo. At least for me.
Does anyone know enough to be able to offer advice?
Thanks you

It's a shame I didn't manage to secure it. I messaged the seller asking about collection and within a few hours it was sold. Oh well. Next time.
It's not super easy to find a steel frame in that size with mudguards eyelets and rack mounts though.

Indeed - what are you after? Have a small Ron Cooper built 1954 Gillot frame needing new paint with mudguard eyelets

That's a nice frame!

I'm looking for any audax style frame. With the requirements as above and ideally modern dropouts and 130mm rear spacing.
I have my eyes on a Peugeot audax frame but debating whether 55cm top tube is too long for me...
I can be a bit picky sometimes
