Help: Giant XTC SL mated to XTR M985 crankset problem

Hi, please help,

I'm just in the process of building my latest bike.

I have a Giant XTC advanced SL frame 26er and I've fitted XTR 2x10 M985 crankset.

I'm using a BB90 bottom bracket and the frame is 68mm

I've fitted two washers on the right and one on the left as normal.

The problem is you cannot pedal backwards as the chain is out of line and hits the next cog up on the rear cassette.

I could fit another spacer on the drive side but is this normal or do I need the more modern BB93 bottom bracket?

Adjust your rear mech tension by half a turn either way... :xmas-cool:

Added one extra spacer to R.H.S bottom bracket and it runs perfect....

Strange but reading about the crankset looks like not suitable for all frames.

I'll try adjusting tension as well.
