You can't brake that hard without the rear wheel locking up first.

You can drag something between wheel and tyre and bend the stays like that. (Orange Prestige circa 1995, not mine!)

I'd probably keep it for gentle duties if it were mine.

I'd probably chop it up and turn it into a wheel jig, so yes, gentle duties.

Well, you kind of answered your own question.

A curve is ..... a curve. Rounded with a visable tangent. Any framebuilder would make this pleasurable to the eye
claiming to give a bit more road vertical compliance and comfort.

What you have is a kink (in a straight piece of steel tube).
